Does God care about us?

Why does God allow terrorism, war and crime? And why does God allow natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes, disease and famine? Does God know what is going on? Is God powerless? Will God ever intervene in human affairs?

Many people ask these questions. After all, if God were all-powerful and loving, why wouldn't He step in and prevent the suffering? Is He unable? Is He unwilling? Is He losing a "war" against evil?

Christianity as we know it today is failing to provide answers to these questions, but the original teachings of Jesus do provide the answers. Mainstream Christianity teaches about the messenger, Jesus, but has forgotten His message: Jesus "went throughout every city and village, preaching and showing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God" (Luke 8:1). Very few people today understand His message about the Kingdom of God, a message very different from the confused beliefs, emotional appeals and empty rituals presented by the church organizations familiar to us today.

In this website you can learn about Jesus' gospel - the good news - of the Kingdom of God. You will see that God is in control and has a plan for mankind. There really is a great purpose being worked out here below: God's plan is in process now!

Here you will see what the Bible prophecies of Jesus, Daniel, John and others foretell for the nations and kingdoms of our world. The prophecies also show that when the time is right, God will take control of human affairs. Consider some of the most compelling verses of the Bible, about times to come:

And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed... (Daniel 2:44)

... he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid ... (Micah 4:3,4)

The prophecies reviewed in the next few pages present an outline of major events - past, present and future - leading to the arrival of the Kingdom of God, after which "... all people, nations, and languages, should serve Him ..." (Daniel 7:14). As we review Bible prophecies we will see how current events in the Middle East and Europe could be setting the stage for the fulfillment of specific prophecies.

After reviewing end time prophecies we will look at what God wants from us and promises to us. God's promises, as presented in the Bible, are quite different from the popular teachings - borrowed from other religions - of an eternity in hell or in heaven. The study of God's promises provides a clear understanding of the amazing plan God has for us.

Incidentally, this website is not the work of a church organization or any other group. It is a personal effort to share information that will give every reader a better understanding of our world and of God's plan. There is no intention to build any sort of organization or following. There will be no request for any kind of support.
